The Marbach Scholarship Program
The Marbach Scholarship Program is accessible to German and international researchers. It supports ambitious research projects that are based on the collections of the German Literature Archive (Deutsches Literaturarchiv – DLA). A completed university degree is a prerequisite for receipt of a scholarship. The scholarships are awarded in three categories according to the recipient’s academic qualifications: full scholarship, post-doctoral scholarship, and graduate scholarship. The duration of a research stay at the German Literature Archive can be from one to four months. Additionally, we offer short-term scholarships for Master’s and State Exam candidates.
Along with the »Marbach Scholarships«, the German Literature Archive Marbach issues scholarships in cooperation with third-party donors and patrons. The scholarships must be thematically relevant or rely on the collections.
For the purposes of networking and exchange a Scholar-Café and a Wednesday Seminar take place weekly. This is an opportunity for scholarship holders and guest scholars to present their projects.
