Reduced entry / discounts:
Youth under 18 years, pupils, students, trainees with vocational school certificate, basic military service members and volunteer service members, visitors over 65 years, severely disabled (one accompanying companion free), recipients of unemployment benefits II, holders of the SWR2 Kulturkarte and the SüdBest Card, members of the BDK (trade association for art education), holders of a ticket on the bwtarif.
Free entry:
Children up to 6 years, members of the DSG, the Friends of the German Literature Archive Marbach and of the Marbach Schiller Association, press personnel, members of the German Museums Association, of the Museumsverband BaWü and of the ICOM, holders of the StuttCard, of the Landesfamilienpass and of vouchers.
Marbach pupils can visit the museums free of charge.
The Museum of Modern Literature is granting free admission to refugees until further notice.
Discounts cannot be combined and apply only to the regular price for adults.
The Schiller National Museum is expected to be closed until autumn 2024 for exhibition renovations.
Prices guided tours and workshops
60-minute guided tour: € 70 plus € 5 museum admission p.p.
90-minute combined tour: €100 plus € 5 Euro museum admission p.p.
45-minute guided tour: € 55 plus € 5 museum admission p.p.
(No museum admission fee for school classes and student groups).
120-minute guided tour including workshop for school classes (60 min guided tour and 60 min workshop) : € 130.

Public 90-minute guided tours of the Museum of Modern Literature (on the last Sunday of every month, 2 pm): €5 plus museum admission (€9 /reduced €7).
Guided tours outside opening hours: Between 8 and 10 am & 5 and 7 pm € 70 additional charge. From 7 pm €100 additional charge.

CLIMATE
For conservation reasons, the exhibition rooms of the two museums are not warmer than 18 degrees Celsius throughout the year. So please remember to wear appropriate clothing, especially in summer.
