The museums are open to all visitors without registration or proof.

Archive and library are also open, users are asked to provide written notice indicating date and time of arrival, expected length of stay, the topic of study and any specific requests. For the stay in the reading rooms, a daily negative test, proof of recovery or vaccination is no longer necessary.
The Collegium House will remain closed until the end of June.
Users and guests of the German Literature Archive Marbach who have spent time in a risk area up to 14 days before their arrival in Marbach a.N. are not permitted to enter the Collegienhaus, the museums and the archive building. They are legally obliged to enter quarantine in a suitable accommodation for a period of 14 days immediately after entry into Germany. This remains applicable, even if they have first entered another federal state of the Federal Republic of Germany or if they have received a negative result for a Covid-19 test. These regulations are based on the Ordinance of the Ministry of Social Affairs on Quarantine Measures for Entry and Return of Travellers to Contain the Virus SARS-CoV-2 (Corona Ordinance Entry Quarantine - CoronaVO EQ) of 17 January 2021.
For the safety of other visitors and our employees, we are unfortunately unable to admit guests who wish to enter our premises without a mask, even if they can present a medical certificate.
