Digitale Originale 4: Julia Flanders: The emergence of digital scholarship: The Women Writers Project
For early digital projects of the 1980s and 1990s, the creation of digital texts for research posed fundamental questions that in turn had a profound impact on work practices, digital standards, publication methods, and funding programs. Julia Flanders, professor of English and the director of the Digital Scholarship Group in the Northeastern University Library, will examine the history and development of the Women Writers Project – an early pioneer and modern leader in digital humanities research and publication.
Moderation: Roland S. Kamzelak.
