Bei den Kafka-Illustrationen Makarewitschs handelt es sich um die frühesten, bisher bekannten Beispiele für die künstlerische Rezeption des Dichters in Rußland (lt. Wolfgang Rothe, 2009).
Das Blatt wurde 1973 veröffentlicht in der Moskauer Zeitschrift "Iskusstvo" (Nr. 5).
